Is the service free?

This is a free service provided via the NHS. Unless you were to opt for a treatment not available via the NHS or not on their formulary.

If you do not qualify?

The service is available to those outwith the inclusion criteria, but consultation, treatment and medication fees would apply.

Who is this service for?

The service is available to all patients registered with a medical practice in Scotland.

Why use this service?

Save time for minor ailments and been seen the same day at Bucksburn Pharmacy & Health Clinic. Our prescribing pharmacists can diagnose and treat several common clinical conditions without need to see a GP or Nurse at your local medical practice. Where appropriate, advice, treatment and recommendations will be given. In some cases it may be more appropriate for onward referral too.

When will it be available?

This service is available most days. It is best to book online as it secures dedicated time to help and saves waiting if just turning up without an appointment. We also ask that you fill out as much information as possible which will help us ahead of time also. If you would prefer not to book an appointment, please call ahead in the off chance we do not have a prescribing pharmacist on.
